CHENNAI: AIADMK supremo and Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa on Tuesday said her party executive committee meeting will be held on June 8 at the party headquarters in Chennai.
Apart from discussing strategy for a possible early Lok Sabha polls, the meeting is also expected to pass resolutions accusing the Centre on various issues including non-allocation of funds in different sectors.

The party perception is that the Centre has an indifferent attitude towards the state's problems on various fronts.
Aiming for a bigger role at the national level, Jayalalithaa and senior party leaders will attend the meeting at the party headquarters.
Party sources said the meeting will go beyond local and regional issues and discuss the strategy for building the party's strength and resources in the event of early Lok Sabha elections.
Party leaders assert that they are not only aiming to win all the 40 parliamentary constituencies in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, but are also eyeing a Prime Ministerial role for their chief Jayalalithaa.
Jayalalithaa had already directed the party's senior leaders to hold consultative meetings in all the parliamentary constituencies to review development projects and pump in enthusiasm into party cadres to work for the Lok Sabha elections.
